Mind map of magazine concept

Contents page construction process

Final

To make my final contents page look professional, I altered the layout of the pages and made room for images. From my first plan you can see the page numbers placed in aligned position from top to bottom this made made it look uninteresting, therefore I changed the positioning into two columned way, this resulted a more entertaining and appealing way to the page.
From my second plan the font used was very old fashioned this didn't  match the 'pop' look, I then changed it into a clear curvy font making it appear elegant and interesting.

Double page construction process

A particular section I have struggled to do was covering the white spaces, I changed this by adding more images, quote boxes and quick quiz. For my photos I replaced each of their background through photoshop, making them look more younger and 'pop'. I changed some components from my first plan for example star and circle shape, instead I used a rectangle shape to set the Trymix name below the collage. Another thing is the pink outline and gray background I adapted this into changing the whole background into pink whcih emphasized the collage more and made the text more noticeable.

Construction Process for final product

Cover Page

You can see from these print screens the changes I have made to make my final product look professional.
A couple of problems have occurred, on my first plan there are too many shapes and tables in the cover, this made the cover look messy and unprofessional.
The fonts used looked very standard and dull. By changing the font into a curvy look this added to making the cover more "pop".
Another thing is the masthead, by using a striking yellow colour, the masthead is more apparent to the audience. Moreover the addition of images enforced the professional look and appealed more to the audience as they would want to know the story behind the images.

2nd plan of my article

From these print screens you can differentiate the first draft to the second, additional questions are added to the interview and changes to the wording are made to the introduction of the Trymix band, these changes are all part of the process of adapting my hip hop genre to a pop.
